Using frozen hash browns makes this breakfast casserole easy and relatively quick. Here’s everything you’ll need to prepare the recipe:
- 2 packages Jones Dairy Farm All Natural No Antibiotics Ever Chicken Sausage
- olive oil or avocado oil
- Onion
- frozen hash browns
- Sea salt and black pepper
- Dairy Free Cheddar Style Shreds
- Eggs
- Dairy free milk of your choice

How to Make This Chicken Sausage Hash Brown Casserole
First, partially thaw the chicken sausage and cut it into bite size pieces. Preheat your oven to 375°F and spray a 9×13” casserole dish with cooking spray.
Heat a skillet over medium high heat and add one tablespoon of the oil. Add the chicken sausage and cook until golden brown, then remove to a plate and set aside.
Lower the heat to medium and add more oil to the skillet. Add the onions and hash browns and cook 5-7 minutes or according to package directions, seasoning with half of the sea salt and black pepper. Cook until light golden brown.
In the prepared casserole dish, layer the hash browns and sausage and stir to combine, then top with the dairy free cheddar. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and remaining salt and pepper. Pour over the sausage hash brown and cheese in the casserole dish, and use a spatula or spoon to cover evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until set. Garnish with scallions and serve hot.
