These 22 Paleo Recipes for delicious, classic comfort foods will get you excited to cook up your favorites ASAP! Let the cravings begin!
What makes a meal or dessert comfort food? I think it’s one of those things that’s tough to put into words – the feelings explain it far better 🙂
As for my definition, comfort food is any food that makes us feel like all is well in the world at that moment – foods that are the equivalent of a warm hug from our favorite person in the world. A giant, delicious, edible hug! Do I sound crazy right now?
I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, which is why I had to create this roundup of legit, classic comfort foods made Paleo! I know that many people who turn to Paleo for health and lifestyle reasons might just be a tad bit concerned that Paleo recipes won’t quite hit the spot the same way the old classics do. But, fear not – these 22 paleo recipes for your favorite comfort foods will completely blow your mind and satisfy your cravings – I promise!
Comfort food is just the best, plain and simple. The weather cools down and the evenings are dark and we all start craving similar flavors and textures. Everyone has their favorites of course – I know I have mine – but I think most people wouldn’t argue that warm, filling and savory meals plus sweet, rich and creamy desserts take priority this time of year. They remind us of being little, being taken care of, home, the holidays, or simply feeling happy and content. They’re the most delicious foods we can remember!
I split this roundup into two parts – savory comfort foods and sweet comfort foods. Breakfasts, lunch/dinner and desserts are included, though I maintain that any good comfort food can and SHOULD be eaten whenever you damn feel like it 🙂
Hope you Enjoy! Which comfort foods are your favorites?

Have been eating paleo since 2011 and i do know that dairy and grains are not allowed so you are not advertising true paleo… why is it everyone wants to add their keto spin to a diet that was designed for people with cronic illness such as diabetes and hoshimotos… Robb Wolf’s book Paleo Solution diet helped me get my life back and people like you that are trying to make a quick buck ruin it make me sick….
